RUMINATIONS ON DIGGING UP BOG BODIES
it is dirtsweet
open / wanting / rich / cold
distant moon paleness / faced with silt
purity in ground
the kindest / divinations
rest beneath watery images
eased by / layers below
fingers plunged into threads
strung between death / life
caught by raggedness
ripples / coat and
shattered glass
separates / what could be
a dolorimeter of humanity
or a ferrous heap / unnatural history
