'Kinbrace’

KINBRACE

Burn and bend. Cloud and cloud-mountain.
A snow-scatter of sheep.
 
Bird scramble above the scribble of tree.
 
I then turned to the wet-lipped god,
as if to greet you.
 
His gale-force words stormed through me.
 
And my heart did flicker.
And my heart did yowl.
